After an entire 5 month run.. Yeah Maid Madea's no longer the mascot for HTFM. Here's why so.

So when I drew her up and did that initial strip, I did not care. What happened was I begun to. Had I never, she probably would still be the mascot about now. I gave her friends, family, really, became a proper character and all. I feel she stands compelling on her own. I don't see the movie ties or any of that interest going away in the comics, I just don't want her to be so tied to some YouTube Channel's identity is all.

You could applaud her even for being able to go from an initial promo strip to a proper serial.
